Together, we are making a difference helping the American Cancer Society to help people get well with free programs and support, finding cancer causes and cures, and fighting back. The American Cancer Society has spent 3.5 billion on cancer research since 1948, and has been a part of every breakthrough in recent history.
Miguel previously founded Operation Rescue, which focused on providing humanitarian aid to families of several Central American countries. The program worked to feed & clothe the homeless, and deliver medical supplies through relief efforts for these families. As part of the program the organization also provided technical assistance and teaching of carpentry skills to families which led toward rehabilitation of their homes.
