The Hawthorne received the 2000 Facility of the Year Award from the Connecticut Society of Association Executives, a non-profit professional society based in Connecticut, at its annual meeting. The award is presented annually to a Connecticut meeting facility for demonstrated excellence. The facility is selected by the association membership from those that host CSAE meetings throughout the year.
