National Home Care and Hospice Month

Lighting the Way, a program of Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care, has been remembering those who died for whom we cared in our hospice program since 2000.

Each year during November, when the Church celebrates All Souls Day and the country celebrates National Home Care and Hospice Care Month, we Light the Way for those who have died. This year we will light a special memorial tree remembering those who died due to Covid-19. We will light the trees and path in November and again during the Christmas Season. If you would like to Light the Way for a loved who has died and receive a candle, please contact Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care at 203-238-1441. Donations are appreciated. Proceeds from Lighting the Way help support Franciscan Hospice Care.
