Highlights from 2025 Meriden Rotary Installation Dinner

Huxleys Bookmark Cafe hosted the 2025 Meriden Rotary Installation Dinner where the Officers and Board Members for the new year were installed and awards were presented to deserving students, and Rotary Members.A "non-Rotarian", David Wyskiel, President of the Meriden Kiwanis, received the annual Howard Houston Award for outstanding community service. David, a local Attorney and performing magician, provided the entertainment with his magic act before dinner. Leslie Kogut, Treasurer of the Meriden Rotary Club, received the Rotarian of the Year Award for the second year in a row for her many contributions to the club. Leslie's husband Stephen Kogut was also recognized for all he does for the club.
Three new members were initiated: George DeLauri, Joan Walker, and Kathir Poryanda.
Many Rotary Club members received awards for their roles and contributions to the club over the past year including Kevin Curry, Dona Ditrio, Krystle Blake, Peter Allam, and Klem Kasinskas.
