Wells Fargo Announces 2012 Contributions in Connecticut

"Wells Fargo's commitment to helping our customers succeed financially is a critical part of Wells Fargo's business strategy, and we believe in being present and proactive in our local neighborhoods and making a difference in society," said Joe Kirk, Wells Fargo's New York and Connecticut regional president.

A sampling of the state's organizations that received grant(s) from Wells Fargo includes WorkPlace Inc.; Bridgeport Neighborhood Trust, Inc.; Community Economic Development Fund Foundation, Inc.; Connecticut Association for the Performing Arts; Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven, Inc.; Gateway Community College Foundation; Teach For America - New Haven; Women's Business Development Council; Connecticut Association for Human Services; Horace Bushnell Memorial Hall Corporation; and the American Red Cross- Farmington.

"We hope our contributions to the nonprofits around the state greatly benefited their mission to support local needs and improved the quality of life for everyone in our communities," said Kirk.
