Owner John Fiderio believes that the half-mile move north on Broad Street will impress customers. The new location offers more warehouse and showroom space, a private conference room and additional parking. The move required 10 months and a great deal of renovation. Mr. Fiderio maintains that the move not only makes the business more accessible, but demonstrates its commitment to Meriden. The 17-year-old business has developed a solid customer base and plans to remain in the city. The ability of a home improvement business to expand to a new location demonstrates that the economy is doing well, according to Sean W. Moore, Chamber president.
