Taking Care of Your Knees - a Message from Diversified PT

Your knee is the largest joint in the body and one of the most complex. It is made up of different parts and so many things can go wrong such as injury to the meniscux, torm ligament or arthritis. Many foot problems can also place pressure on the knees. Wearing proper footwear with plenty of support is imperative. Getting orthotics can help correct foot problems which will decrese wear ot the knees. Regular exercise and activity are important but certain activities may irritate your knees, so it is best to evaluate which sport or exercise program is best for you. Knee problems are manageable and we can treat them in physical therapy. Give us a call or e-mail if you have any questions about therapy or any of our other programs.
