August 11, 2003Teikyo Post University Accelerated Degree Program Offers Complimentary Workshops. Topics include Tips for a Successful Presentation: Discover the ins and outs of creating and delivering a successful presentation. This workshop covers everything from reading your audience to holding a successful question & answer session. Attending College as an Adult Student Today, a college education is essential to accelerating your career and personal goals; more and more adults are attending college. This workshop provides insights into what to look for in a college program, how to get started, and what to expect in the classroom. Managing Your 401K During these uncertain economic times, understanding your 401K program can be challenging, but necessary. This workshop offers suggestions to help you successfully manage your 401K. Topics covered include discovering your investment style, risk vs. return, and diversification. Small Business IssuesThis workshop covers four main areas: Organization, Financing, Legal, and Tax issues. It is an excellent introduction to the small business world and provides resource links to get additional information and assistance.
Each workshop runs between 30-45 minutes and includes time for a question & answer period. Space is limited. The workshops are interactive in format and specific issues of the audience are addressed. A light lunch is provided.
