SCOW CELEBRATES 50 YEARS!

IT'S OUR BIRTHDAY! The Spanish Community of Wallingford (SCOW) was founded in 1972 by a small group of Hispanics in the greater Meriden-Wallingford area who experienced difficulties finding translators, interpreters, employment, and medical assistance within the community. The founders envisioned SCOW to be the leading agency to help develop and involve the Latinos in the community.Through the years, SCOW has been successful in implementing its mission by providing a variety of social, cultural, educational services and enrichment activities that allow our clients to not only endure but to successfully integrate themselves into U.S. society.
Thank you for your continued and growing support! We hope to continue to serve our community and provide programs and services for many more years to come!
