The Salvation Army is dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate.

October 22, 2012

The Salvation Army is dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate. We provide many programs for needy individuals and families throughout the year. Currently, we provide Food Pantry, Soup Kitchen, Children's Programs and a Financial Literacy Program. During the holiday season, we provide food baskets and turkeys for families and individuals, as well as, gifts for children 0-12 years of age for Christmas.

A Holiday Food Basket is prepared for individuals and families in need of a turkey and food assistance. This basket provides them a well-rounded meal for the holidays.

The Angel Tree Program is design to help low-income families by providing toys and clothing for their children for Christmas. Families come to our center to apply for assistance and The Salvation Army completes an "Angel Tag" for each child between 0-12 years of age. Groups/companies/businesses request a certain number of tags that they would like to sponsor. If you decide to participate, please fill-out this form and send it back to us as soon as possible. Our pick up dates starts on December 6 through December13, but no later than December 23. With your help, we can make a difference this season!

If you would like more information in how to get involve please call (203)235-6532, e-mail. Isael.Gonzalez@USE.salvationarmy.org or fax (203)639-0422.
