Helping Monarchs Thrive Near Our Power Lines

This Earth Day, we're celebrating something you might not expect: how our power line corridors deliver more than electricity - they also help nature thrive. Across the region, we're providing vital habitats for monarch butterflies and other pollinators. Through a voluntary conservation effort, we manage these areas to support the growth of milkweed and nectar-rich flowering plants that monarch butterflies need to breed and migrate - fueling them across their life cycle while continuing to provide safe, reliable electric service for you.
