Pastor Will Marotti and his clerical colleagues organized a successful Day of Payer on Thursday, June 2nd. The event began with a breakfast at the First Assembly of God Church on Paddock Avenue, to which City leaders were invited. At noon, the group traveled to the Capitol in Hartford. An evening service was held at Hubbard Park at 6:00 p.m., marking the fourth year of the event. Eleven Meriden churches worked to create the Day of Prayer, which was sponsored by the National Day of Prayer Meriden Task Force.
