New Life Church and Calvary Baptist Church will ce ...

New Life Church and Calvary Baptist Church will celebrate their unity as one church during 8:00, 9:30, and 11:30 AM services held at 262 Bee St. The event coincides with the Day of Pentecost, the historic birth of the New Testament Church as recorded in the biblical book of Acts, chapter two. The new, New Life Church will then host a community picnic starting at 1:30 PM, also on the 262 Bee Street campus. All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Church members are asked to bring a salad and/or dessert. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, and drinks will be provided as well as games for the children and live music for all to enjoy. The event culminates months of planning and the congregational approval of the merger in late April. It is also a celebration of the merger of the 1st Spanish Baptist Church of Meriden with New Life Church, as previously announced.
