Gaylord Welcomes Michael Ivy, MD, FACS, FCCM, as Chief Medical Officer

Gaylord welcomes Michael Ivy, MD, FACS, FCCM, to our team as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Ivy will succeed Dr. Stephen Holland who will retire this month. Prior to joining Gaylord, Dr. Ivy was Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Yale-New Haven Health System. He also held a number of leadership roles, including Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgeport Hospital, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Trauma at Bridgeport Hospital, and Associate Director of Surgery at Hartford Hospital."Gaylord's reputation is very well-deserved, he said. "It's a critical part of our state's healthcare system, and all of the acute care hospitals across Connecticut appreciate the value and the quality that Gaylord offers."
