Project Graduation Donation Request

March 12, 2020

Meriden has been providing a safe, memorable graduation night for many years through Meriden Project Graduation, It is a community wide effort to organize and promote a drug and alcohol free graduation party for the senior class of our three high schools.

Each year, parent and community volunteers, with the input from students, organize this free party, providing refreshments and a lot of fun entertainment. Graduates and parents can rest easier knowing that they are part of a safe, friendly event. Volunteer organizers and officials appreciate the efforts of all to reduce the chances of party related incidents.

Local businesses and organizations play an important role. Through your generosity, you help cover the cost of allowing the graduates to attend free of charge. Through your contributions, valuable items are raffled off throughout the night, including a $500.00 cash prize to one graduate from each school, encouraging graduates to stay the whole time. The evening allows graduates from Maloney, Platt and Wilcox Tech to safely gather together on one of the most important evenings of their lives. This event builds friendships and strengthens our community.

Any contributions you are able to make would be greatly appreciated. Financial, in-kind donations (non-cash, goods or services) are all welcome! Please indicate such and we Weill be in contact with you. Meriden Project Graduation is an IRS approved 501 3 charitable organization and all contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.

All donations will be acknowledged in the program book given to all the attending graduates.

Thank you for your help in making Meriden Project Graduation a success. Our entire community appreciates your support!
