Lawrence McGoldrick, President of Castle Bank and Trust Company announced the recent addition of Daniel R. DeRosa as Senior Vice President, Senior Lender. Mr. DeRosa has been employed in banking since 1981, serving the business community in Central Connecticut. He began his 20 plus year banking career in 1981 with Hartford National Bank/Shawmut Bank, holding various positions in Cash management and Commercial Lending until 1995. Prior to joining Castle Bank, Mr. DeRosa served as a Vice President of Commercial Lending for Southington Savings Bank since 1995. Mr. DeRosa received his BS and MBA from the University of New Haven. He is a member of the Middlefield Town Committee and past member of the Middlesex YMCA Board of Finance. Mr. DeRosa is also active in community and youth organizations. He is active in the Cheshire and Southington Chambers of Commerce. Mr. DeRosa and his family reside in Middlefield.
