Ion Bank Announces Appointments

- Sharon Mansfield has been named Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending. Ms. Mansfield joined Ion Bank in 2008. She previously was an Assistant Vice President, Real Estate Officer at People's United Bank in Waterbury and a Vice President, Credit Consultant at Wachovia Mortgage Corporation in Waterbury. Sharon is a past President of the Literacy Volunteers of Greater Waterbury, a current member and past secretary of the Exchange Club of Waterbury and a current Executive Board Member of the Waterbury Housing Fund. She is a graduate of the Leadership Danbury Program. She is a Waterbury native and currently resides in Wolcott with her husband Richard.

- E.J. D'Ettore has been named Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending. Mr. D'Ettore has been an Ion Bank employee for two years. He previously worked at Santander in West Hartford as Vice President of Commercial Banking. He holds a B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and an M.S. from Fordham University. He currently serves on the Boards of the United Way of Greater Waterbury and the Wolcott Girls Softball Association. He previously served as Vice Chair of the Board of the Community Economic Development Fund, a member of the New Haven Manufacturers Association and the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce. Mr. D'Ettore is on the Board of Trustees of Wolcott Congregational Church. He resides in Wolcott.

- Richard A. Nemec has been named Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending. Mr. Nemec joined Ion Bank in 2007. Richard previously was a Vice President at NewMil Bank in New Milford as well as the U.S. Trust Company in West Hartford. Mr. Nemec holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He sits on the Board of Governors of the Watertown Golf Club and also serves as a member of the Loan Approval Committee for the Waterbury Development Corporation and is a council member of the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce Manufacturer's Council. He is also past president of the Exchange Club of Waterbury. Nemec has been a resident of Watertown for 27 years.

- Kevin J. King has been named Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending. Mr. King has been an employee of Ion Bank for 11 years. He was previously a Vice President at MidCap Business Credit, LLC in West Hartford. Kevin holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Quinnipiac University. Kevin is a Board member of the Ion Bank Cheshire Half Marathon & 5K. He is a Valley Stream, NY native and currently resides in Wallingford with his wife Karen.
