Local Bank Plans Relocation

Plans are well underway for Castle Bank and Trust Company to relocate its main office as well as its 852 East Main Street Branch office to 1295 East Main Street on the corner of Research Parkway. The new location will serve both businesses and consumers in Meriden and Wallingford and will offer additional products and services including safe deposit boxes as well as the convenience of a new drive up ATM, ample parking and weather protected ATMs.The relocation will involve eleven of the bank's executive, operations and commercial lending staff currently located at 100 Hanover Street as well as seven employees staffing the current East Main Street branch. The branch located at 100 Hanover Street will continue to provide banking services to Castle Bank's west side and downtown customers.
The branch opening is slated for early September 2008.
