Avoid the Flu - Adult and Child Flu Vaccines Now Available

Adult and child seasonal influenza (flu) vaccines are now available at the Meriden Health Department. Yearly flu vaccination is recommended for anyone over the age of 6 months. Any persons allergic to eggs or any part of the flu vaccine cannot get the vaccination. The cost of the adult vaccine is $25.00 (cash only please) for self-pay clients. Medicare and Connecticare Medicare HMO are the only insurances accepted at this time. Child flu vaccine is given for free Meriden youth under the age of 18.The vaccine is given by public health nurses at the Clinic office, 165 Miller Street, on Mondays and Wednesdays by appointment. Please call (203) 630-4234 to make your appointment.
