Going to college this fall? Remember to get vaccinated! The Meriden Health Department is offering the following vaccines to students entering college or studying abroad this fall:� Meningitis: Available free of charge up to age 19 � MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): $20.00 over age 19, free for those under age 19 � Varicella (Chickenpox): $140.00 over age 19, free up to age 19 � Tdap (Tetanus & Pertussis): Available free of charge, no age limit � Hepatitis A: $40.00 per dose for students over age 19 (2 doses required), free up to age 19 � Hepatitis B: $65.00 per dose for students over age 19 (3 doses required), free up to age 19
Mantoux/PPD testing for tuberculosis (TB) is also available for $10.00. Testing is done Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays (holidays excluded). Call the Clinic office at 203-630-4234 for appointment; walk-ins accepted Monday � Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm (holidays excluded). Students - please bring your immunization record to the Health Department during your appointment.
