April 4-10 is National Public Health Week

April 4-10 is National Public Health Week, and to celebrate the Meriden Health Department is offering the following specials:� Bicycle helmets, adult and child sizes, for only $5.00 (regularly $7.50); � Free total cholesterol screening; � Free blood pressure check; � Free pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine for caregivers of infants; � Free lead screening for children age 2- 5 years old; � Free height and weight analysis for adults; � Free, confidential HIV testing; � Free gun locks; � Free pedometers (step counters).
These specials are valid during National Public Health Week only (please note - the office is only open M-F, April 4-8).
