Meriden Health Department will be offering free CPR demonstrations to community organizations and businesses

If a Co-Worker Had a Cardiac Emergency, Would You Know What To Do? February is American Heart Month; during this month the Meriden Health Department will be offering free CPR demonstrations to community organizations and businesses. We'll review the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke, when to call 9-1-1, and how to give emergency care until advanced help can arrive. The program is presented by the Health Department's Community Health Educator, who is a certified CPR instructor. If you would like a program to be held at your facility, please call Lea at 203-630-4238. Please note that this is not a CPR certification course, and no certificates will be given out.
