Building a Foundation for a Healthier Community, The Meriden Department of Health and Human Services is now offering a new comprehensive brochure outlining the broad services that are offered to Meriden residents. This brochure is appropriate for individuals that work or live in Meriden and want to learn more about our community. Call 630-4226 or email healthandhumaservices@ci.meriden.ct.us with your request.

New Quit Smoking Program with the Opportunity for Medication at a Reduced Rate.- Starting Tuesday, April 6th, the Meriden Health Department and the American Lung Association of Connecticut are teaming up to provide a low cost Freedom From Smoking Clinic that includes the optional use of the gum, patch and/ or the prescription zyban. A mandatory, no obligation information session will be held on Tuesday, March 30th at the Health Department on 165 Miller Street from 6:00-7:30 P.M. For more information call Debbie at 630-4104
