Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis, Inc. would like to remind everyone that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. During this month, domestic violence agencies across the country will be holding events to bring awareness to this socially debilitating issue. Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis, Inc. will be holding a candlelight vigil in Meriden and Wallingford and informational booths will be set up in the local area. On October 1st at noon, the religious communities in both towns are being asked to ring their bells for one minute in remembrance of all who have been affected by domestic violence in their lives. Please take a moment of silence during your workday at this time. Please contact the business office if you have any questions about times for these or other events being held or for further information.
