RIDE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS As a part of their workforce initiative, the Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce has agreed to facilitate the Ride Home for the Holidays program, which provides special transportation home for employees of Westfield Shoppingtown, Circuit City and Target throughout the holiday shopping season. Ride vouchers will be made available to workers needing transportation evenings and weekends when regular bus service is not available. The Ride program is funded by DSS and provided through a partnership between the Chamber, the Meriden Transit District, Hunter's Transportation Service and the Regional Growth Partnership (RGC).
