On December 1st, the residents of the Center were treated to musical entertainment at their annual Christmas party. The Allegrettos, a Maloney High School singing group, performed for them for the second year. The students enjoyed bringing holiday cheer to the patients. Admissions director Melissa Cox described the dinner as a festive time, as well as an opportunity for families to participate in their relative's activities. School volunteers visit on a regular basis to assist the elderly. In this past summer, the center hosted an Intergenerational Day, which allowed students to spend time with the residents and contribute toward their community. Administrator Bob Murray praised the Allegrettos, not only for the entertainment, but also for the residents to enjoy the presence of young people. Chamber President Sean Moore's daughter Erin sang with the Allegrettos.
