Happy Holidays from the Women and Families Center; we bring you all good tidings and cheer. The Open DOHR (Developing Opportunities in Human Resources) Program has many new and exciting happenings. The program recently graduated 13 Certified Nurse Aides on 12/12/06 at Middlesex Community College in Middletown. These graduates are now state licensed to work in hospitals, nursing homes, and private duty homecare.Open DOHR has also launched two new programs in Meriden a comprehensive Customer Service training in partnership with Meriden Business and Learning Center and Introduction to Building Trades with Wilcox Technical School. Any business interested in taking advantage of this opportunity to fill employment or apprenticeship needs should contact Michael Buccilli, Open Coordinator.
