The fifth annual College and Career Fair was held at the school in early December, with representatives form 33 colleges and 12 businesses participating. Among the local businesses represented were AGC Corp, Kelli's A Salon, and S N E T. Agencies such as the Bradley Home and AmeriCorps also met with students. Diane McNicholas-Botsacos, the school's guidance coordinator, invited ninth graders to participate, because they are not too young to learn about colleges and the world of business. The City's Police and Fire Departments also provided information for students.
