Richard Cavallaro has come full-circle. As a teacher who once taught social studies at the then-Wilcox Regional Vocational Technical School, he has returned to the school now known as the Wilcox Regional Technical High School as its director. Mr. Cavallaro was handpicked by Dominic Spera for his qualifications, leadership and people skills; his familiarity with the Wilcox faculty also gave him an edge. As new director, Mr. Cavallaro will follow the school development plan which includes improvements in technology, more electives in the core curriculum and an emphasis on academics.
