Center of Distinction Award

Thursday, August 19, 2010 MidState Medical Center's Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine was recently presented with the prestigious Center of Distinction Award from Diversified Clinical Services. Diversified is the largest provider of wound care services in the nation with over 300 centers. The award is in recognition of the center's high patient satisfaction rates, exceptional healing results and outstanding clinical outcomes over the past twelve months. Jeffrey Harker, Diversified's Senior Vice President, noted that MidState's center has achieved a 97% patient satisfaction rate with healing outcomes at 95%, and an average of 31 days to heal. "We're honored," said Sharon Duda, Program Director. "it's a privilage to be part of a great collaborative effort. Together, we are able to heal patients in our community, getting them back to living happy, healthy lives." Congratulations to the entire Wound Care team who made these outstanding results possible. In quarterly patient satisfaction surveys, MidState consistently rates among the top hospitals in Connecticut and the nation.
