MidState Medical Center Wins 2008 Press Ganey "Success Story" Award For Physician Satisfaction

MidState Medical Center is proud to announce that Press Ganey Associates, Inc has named it a 2008 "Success Story" Award Winner. Press Ganey is the nation's leading surveyor of patient, staff and physician satisfaction, and presents its "Success Story" Award to organizations that have demonstrated innovation and cultural change to improve patient care and physician and employee satisfaction. Only six of Press Ganey's 3,500 clients receive the "Success Story" Award, and MidState is one of them.MidState won for its achievement in enhancing physician satisfaction. Results from the hospital's most recent physician survey show that MidState ranked in the 98th percentile in overall physician satisfaction. MidState garnered its first "Success Story" Award in 2000 when the hospital won for building a patient-focused culture that resulted in some of the highest patient satisfaction scores in the country.
Press Ganey currently partners with more than 7,000 health care facilities�including over 40% of U.S. hospitals�to measure and improve the quality of their care. The "Success Story" Award recognizes facilities that have demonstrated leadership, implemented organizational change, and increased customer satisfaction. The Press Ganey "Success Story" Award is a coveted symbol of achievement in the health care industry.
