MidState was recognized by the Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce and the new Superintendent of Schools Mary Cortright as a "model" School-Business Partnership with John Barry School at a monthly breakfast program of the Chamber. MidState staff have actively participated in this relationship for many years. Also acknowledged were MidState's participation in school health fairs, the Chamber Business Expo as well as the CPR classes at the high schools.
