MidState Medical Center has launched a Corporate Wellness Initiative to involve employers and employees in wellness activities that positively impact their lifestyles. Worksite wellness programs typically assist companies to improve employee health, morale, and productivity, as well as potential reduce absenteeism and health care costs. A range of services, including a brown bag lunch series, personal health screenings, self-help programs, and consultation services for wellness committees, is available.
