July 16, 2002

After 36 years of service, Jack Brooks will resign as Executive Director on December 13th. Jack has enjoyed his relationships with the people and the community which the United Way serves. He is eager to try something new in his life, perhaps genealogy, and continue his efforts as a disaster relief worker. He also intends to enjoy his hobbies more, along with his family. One of his most outstanding accomplishments has been the amount of money raised for the charity, as well as establishing new organizations to serve the community. Board officers Sandra Blodgett and Brendan Goodrich praised Jack's success and dedication. The 2002-03 campaign has named its leaders. Frank Ridley will be the chairman, with Rhonda Murchison and Jim Wood as co-vice chairpersons.
