School meals are an Essential Ingredient to Education

The campaign for no-cost school meals continues this week.The emergency actions taken by the Legislature and signed by the Governor last week funds free school meals for the remainder of this academic year.
This week is our chance to ask legislators to support permanent no-cost school meals for all Connecticut students.
Tell your story of why school meals matter by: - Testifying at Thursday's (Feb. 23rd) Public hearing via zoom. Click here to register for the webinar and more information. Deadline to register is Feb. 22nd by 3pm. - Submit your story via written testimony. Long or short - your story matters. Click here to submit your written testimony. - Call your legislators and ask for their support. Calls matter. Take 5 minutes to ask your state Senator or Representative to support permanent no-cost meals.
