Shaw's Supermarket raised $5,500 for United Way of Meriden and Wallingford's 2005 Community. Many thanks goes out to their employees for all their hard work and fundraising efforts. General Manager, Michael Ouellette quoted: "It's always a rewarding feeling to give to those in need. Shaw's is proud to support United Way and we look forward to doing more fundraisers to raise awareness of United Way.""United Way of Meriden and Wallingford funds some of the most effective programs touching children, adults and families and we couldn't do this without the support of local businesses and individuals", said Campaign Chair, Bernie McLouglin. "The support of Shaw's is extremely important in helping those people in need in our community. We thank Shaw's for their continued support for United Way and all our agencies."
