Frank W. Ridley, the 2002 United Way Campaign Chai ...

Frank W. Ridley, the 2002 United Way Campaign Chairman, along with Co-Vice Chairmen Rhonda Murchison and Jim Wood, have announced the appointment of the following volunteers to direct the five divisions for the fall fund-raising campaign. These divisions are responsible for soliciting companies from all areas of the community. John Augustyn, president of Pyramid Technologies in Meriden, will chair the Industrial Division for the Meriden area; Eileen Anderson, branch manager at Fleet Bank in Meriden will chair the Commercial Division for Meriden, and John Mattingly, assistant vice president and sales manager of Hudson United Bank in Wallingford will be responsible for the same division in the Wallingford area. Cecelia Manthay, executive secretary with the Wallingford Electric Division will chair the Meriden Special Gifts Division, while Charles P. Lewis Jr., recently retired from Choate, will be responsible for the Wallingford Special Gifts Division. The Public Divisions that include the school systems and municipal departments will be chaired by Thomas P. Loin, Development Administrator for the City of Meriden, and Joan Stave, administrative aide in the Wallingford Mayor's office. Sandra Blodgett, marketing services director for the Record-Journal, and Rosemary Propper will oversee the Professional Division.
