Scheduled for completion in October, a 126,000 square-foot building in Medway Industrial Park will serve as the company' East Coast logistics center. The expansion will bring about 50 new jobs to the Meriden-Wallingford area, according to President William Bayne. Moving the shipping and receiving to Wallingford will allow RFS to fill more of its North American Headquarters on Pond View Drive with antenna manufacturing which has been handled in New Jersey and Phoenix. About 20 new manufacturing positions will become available in the Meriden location. RFS is a telecommunications equipment manufacturer which opened its 310,355square-foot headquarters in 1998..
