From Easter Baskets to Paid Days Off Pyramid Time System Staff Gets Creative While Fundraising For Relay for Life

Endless effort has erupted from the Pyramid Time Systems staff as they began the fundraising for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. From Cupcakes to Easter baskets, the Pyramid team has been seamlessly working together to meet their fundraising goal. With a target of $1,000 dollars, the employees started off in the holiday spirit. Pyramid's Human Resources Manager, Martha Gallagher, created an Easter Basket Raffle, where employees could enter to win a basket filled with goodies for 5 dollars a ticket. Tasty treats have been the theme as a bake sale featuring beautifully crafted cupcakes & delicious butterscotch peanut butter squares also took place in attempt to raise money. Other raffles included a paid day off & a Relay for Life sweatshirt, paying 1 dollar to wear jeans on Monday's & "loose change" donation jars placed around the office. With just over 900 dollars currently raised, the goal of 1,000 is sure to be met. Pyramid will be taking their efforts outside the office as well, as they plan to participate in the Relay for Life Event on June 9th -10th. Creatively named the "Pyramid Pacers," as Customer Service Rep. Carol Pace is the team leader, 7 employees have already signed up to walk the noon time event held at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Middletown, Conn. "Round up for the Cure," will be the Pacers slogan for the day as they embrace their rodeo theme with cowboy paraphernalia and a horseshoe pitch game at their site which will be used to fundraise.
