John L. Prentis & Co., celebrates its 35th anniversary and announces the promotion of Michael Glynn to the position of Production Manager. John L. Prentis was co-founded by its current President, Bruce Burchsted and is one of Downtown Meriden's oldest businesses which looks forward to the company's continued participation in the development of the center city. The company which started as a "Blue-printing House" to it's present status as a "Reprographic Center" now serves Central Connecticut from New Haven to Hartford and beyond. The center serves every segment of the market from commercial, municipal, and non-profit account to individual customers. Prentis offers pre-press, digital printing, offset printing, engineering reproductions, mounting and laminating and copy center services. To continue and improve its service to its growing customer base, Mr. Burchsted has broadened the management base of the company. Mr. Michael Glynn, an employee for nine years, has been promoted to Production Manager. Mr. Glynn will assume responsibilities for coordinating the daily operations of the productions departments.
