NEW! Little Chefs Cooking Classes

The Meriden YMCA announces a new program called Little Chefs Cooking Classes. This 5 week program is designed for children ages 4 to 12 to give them hands on cooking experience. The best part is children get to eat their own creation! Classes will be held at our South Meriden facility at 145 South Main Street in our huge kitchen- lots of room to cook and create! Our instructor Sue Thornton has over ten years of culinary experience. Classes are on Mondays from April 20th to May 18th. Class times are as follows: age 4 to 6 meets from 4 to 4:45 p.m.; age 7 to 9 from 5 to 6 p.m., and age 10 to 12 from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Fees are $34 for a full member and $49 for a program member.
