The Mall held a very successful blood drive on September 13th for the benefit of the victims of the national tragedy. The Red Cross is requesting a steady show of support from donors in the near future, with appointments necessary. Limited staff are not able to accept donations from walk-ins. The need for blood in New York has been filled, but future need in Connecticut must still be considered. Appointments to donate blood even a month from now will be very welcome. To make an appointment, contact the Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.
