Westfield Meriden will convert the former "Kids Zo ...

Westfield Meriden will convert the former "Kids Zone" area of the Food Court to unveil a model playhouse of the Ronald McDonald House of CT (RMH) as a new in-mall amenity for young shoppers and families. The playhouse will serve as a functional play area for young children, while generating valuable funds and awareness for the RMH and the families it serves. An open house will take place on August 24 (TBD) and displayed through December 2006 to culminate with RMH's annual Lights of Love holiday event. Westfield will donate the playhouse to RMH to raffle at the end of the fundraising campaign in December. The campaign will be supported by a series of in-mall Family Nights (Sep. - Nov.) featuring activities for children, appearances by Ronald McDonald, give-aways and entertainment, and more.
