Summer Programs for Children at the Meriden Public Library

Meriden Public Library Tomie dePaolo Children's Library announces their summer childrens programs beginning Monday, June 24. Tickets are required for all the programs. Tickets will be available in the Children's Library beginning June 10th. All programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Meriden Public Library.

- Monday, June 24 at 6:30 pm - Nature of the Seahorse Come and see the Nature of the Seahorse with Mike Glazer and his touch tanks. - Friday, June 28 at 10:30 am - Jester Jim Jester Jim will impress you with his comedy, juggling and unicycling - Monday, July 1 at 6:30 pm - Bwana Iguana Come and have a wildly exciting time with Ray Ward and his reptile show. - Friday, July 5 at 10:30 am - Puppet Show Laurie Murphy makes her puppets come to life to entertain and interact with your children. - Monday, July 8 at 6:30 pm - Unicycle and Juggling Ethan Frankel will amaze you with his unicycle and juggling ability. - Friday, July 12 at 10:30 am - Animals on the go Come and see the animals and learn about ecology and pet ownership - Monday, July 15 at 6:30 pm - Les Julian Songs that make you laugh and think. Music and fun for the whole family. - Friday, July 19 at 10:30 am - Fun with Rhythms Come and listen to the rhythms with Edward Leonard. - Monday, July 22 at 6:30 pm - Sciencetellers. The Bugs of Blackwood. For children in kindergarten - 6th grade. - Friday, July 26 at 10:30 am - Music of Bruce John. Music and fun for all. - Monday, July 29 at 6:30 pm - Farmer Minor and his pig Daisy. Come and meet Daisy the pig. - Friday, August 2 at 10:30 am - Magic with Steve Wronker. - Monday, August 5 at 6:30 pm - High Touch High Tech. The State of Matter a fun filled, hands-on educational experience.
