Volunteer Tax Assistance Through April 14

The Meriden Public Library will host the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program through Wednesday, April 14 in the Friends Room, located on the side of the library. The library is located at 105 Miller Street. V.I.T.A., which is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, provides free help to taxpayers who cannot afford professional assistance or who have tax questions. Assistance in preparing Connecticut state tax forms will also be available.The tax assistance will be available in April according to the following schedule: - Saturday, April 3 - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM - Wednesday, April 7 - 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM - Saturday, April 10 - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM - Wednesday, April 14 - 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
