Meriden Public Library recently unveiled Reference USA, available to library patrons over the Internet, which has been described as the ideal information source for job seekers, sales people, entrepreneurs, students, consumers, news media and law firms. InfoUSA, a Nebraska-based information company, created and maintains this database. Information is available on 11 million American businesses, schools, hospitals and nonprofit organizations. Information is updated monthly or when it becomes available. It is so reliable that is used by the White House, CNN, colleges and universities and law firms.
Member News is provided as a service of the Midstate Chamber of Commerce and is also featured in the monthly "Chamber News" newsletter mailed to members.
