The Meriden Boys Club, in existence for 111 years, will now be named the Boys and Girls Club of Meriden. Gary Burt, the club's executive director, believes the name change will more accurately reflect the types of services which the club provides. The club will also be expanded physically to allow for greater enrollment, especially by girls. The addition will offer a gym, offices, storage room, concession and eating area.
