2nd Annual Mentorship Program Begins at the Boys and Girls Club of Meriden

The Boys & Girls Club of Meriden will begin the 2nd Annual Mentorship Program in the beginning of January. They are in the process of recruiting both mentors and mentees. One of the ways you can make a difference in a child's life is through mentoring. Studies have shown that mentoring underprivileged youth improves their performance in all aspects of their lives, including: academic performance, social behaviors, physical and mental health.

Mentoring can occur in many different forms and environments, with a primary goal to build a trusting and supportive relationship. The Boys and Girls Club asks for their mentors to commit one hour, every week, for a year to the mentee's life. Please join them in finding the right mentors for the children who are in need and visit the links below to learn more about the program. Thank you for your time and assistance!
