Boys & Girls Club of Meriden Alumni Golf Outing, Corporators Picnic & Auction. Mark your calendar for a great day of golf and fun!

On September 18, 2003, The Boys & Girls Club of Meriden Connecticut will hold its Annual Alumni Golf Outing, Corporators Picnic & Silent Auction. The Alumni Golf Tournament will be held at the Hunter Golf Club in Meriden. The picnic and auction take place at the Mountainside Resort in Wallingford after the Golf Tournament. The funds generated from these events go directly to programs to provide over 1,800 boys and girls with a positive place to go everyday after-school. Last year's events generated over $24,000 for the boys & girls at the Club.

The Golf Tournament includes: 18 Hole Competition - Scramble Format; Long & Straight Drive Contest - Putting Contest Gifts for all players; Special Par 3 Contests; Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Soda on the course; $10,000 Hole in One Challenge sponsored by Executive Auto�& a goodie bag of items for each golfer!

Sponsorships available: Green or Tee Sponsor Recognition; Special Program recognition; Recognition on Golfers Special Gift

The Golf Schedule: Registration & Putting Contest 9:45 A.M. - 10:45 A.M.; Tee - off 11:00 A.M.

Mountainside Outing includes: Chowder, Raw Clams, etc.: 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.; Full Barbecue Buffet: 7:00 P.M.; Beer and Soft Drinks included.

The Silent Auction: Items include in-state trips & vacation packages, sports memorabilia, jewelry, a prepared gourmet dinner, football & baseball tickets, tickets to shows and plays, and other items for the whole family. (The 2002 auction had over 70 items to bid).
