The Friends of Meriden Public Library will hold their fall booksale at Meriden Public Library from Monday, October 6 through Saturday, October 11. The hours will be as follows: Monday, October 6th from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Friends of the Library Members only! (A membership table will be open). Tuesday, October 7th from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 8th from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 9th from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 10th from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, October 11th from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Over 15, 000 books and other all new materials will be offered for sale, according to Kerry McEntee, booksale chair. Records, videotapes and audiotapes will also be available, as well as books for every room of the house.

Categories of items featured include mysteries, children's books, nonfiction, computer books, cookbooks, how to books, self-help, science fiction, health, fitness and wellness. Hardcover books will be sold for $1.00 each and paperbacks for 50 cents; children's books will be available for 25 cents to $1.00. Specially priced sets and collections will be available at a slightly higher price.

On the last day of the sale, October 11 books will be priced by bag.

Donations are still welcome and may be deposited in the specially marked bin inside the library entrance. For further information, contact Meriden Public Library at 238-2344.
